NO WIND TODAY!!!

Bora!!!

--> Sailed to Makia Marina

--> Moored at Makia Marina in the morning -- Took the dinghy to the pier at Viatape to get lunch and groceries

Kyle and Bruce tried the Steak & Fritas Hoagie (Kyle thought it excellent, Bruce, not so much)

Bruce and Dorrie ordered extra "steak fritas" cause they liked the name

Bruce fed the one eyed dog.

Dorrie started a dogfight and feeding frenzy in Viatape!!!

No go on getting groceries on Sundays. Especially when you are at the Super U hardware store

--> Sailed North to a snorkel spot just North of the Passe across from the Bora Bora Yacht Club

--> Anchored Southeast of Motu Ahuna for the morning

Went snorkeling just North of the Passe in Bora.

Saw:

many needlefish
schools of tan/green and black striped tangs
schools of yellow and black striped sun fish feeding on the coral
a huge eel
trashed fishing nets
50 gallon drum
evil dudes catching live fish (don't touch the butt Nemo)

--> Sailed North to another snorkel spot

--> Anchored Southwest of the Airport in 1.5 meters of water to Snorkel and stay the night

Went to a "good snorkeling" spot to the west of the Cat:

Chelsea, Kyle, Cary and I took the dinghy out. We saw midget fish in their midget town in midget water. Kinda cool midget fish, but, overall, not so good...

Finished the afternoon hiking a ridiculously steep cement road near point Tierari which was covered with "schools of ants"!!! Saw some great water towers and "great snorkeling spots". Jim was bound and tortured by local tribes while searching for WWII Guns, while others ignored his hollers for help...

No Guns...
